What is Nutritional Therapy?

My passion lies in helping people make positive, long-lasting change to their diet, using real food that's enjoyable, delicious and nutrient-dense. Using seasonal, quality ingredients, you'll be able to manage your health issues without ever sacrificing your love of good food.

The aim is that you won't feel you've given anything up. Instead, you'll be introduced to a new way of eating, one that leaves you with fewer cravings, less snacking, and healthy habits that actually stick. It's about making wiser food choices, not counting calories.

Nutritional therapy itself is a form of complementary medicine, using evidence-based nutrition to restore and maintain both physical and mental health, and to help prevent disease. As a nutritional therapist, my job is to thoroughly assess your diet, physiology and lifestyle, and to identify the root causes behind your symptoms. From there, I work to address those imbalances, starting with food first, and bringing in supplements or laboratory testing where they're genuinely needed. I don't diagnose or treat disease, and I frequently work alongside other medical professionals to support your overall health.

Information in this field is always evolving, and I make it a priority to stay current with emerging research, so you can trust you're receiving safe, effective, evidence-based nutritional therapy.

"Everyone can benefit from Nutritional Therapy, whether you're managing a specific illness or simply want to improve your wellbeing, gut health and diet."
